Why Travel to the French Riviera?

Just the name "French Riviera" conjures up some of the world's most glamourous images: the Grand Prix of Monte Carlo, the Cannes Film Festival, St Tropez and scores of others. Who has not heard of the Grasse perfume factories, the Nice flower market, St Paul de Vence, Prince Albert of Monaco, the Baie des Anges? Hilltop villages, art museums, festivals, beaches, skiing, forested mountains and sparkling rivers complete the picture.
